I tried to breathe life into cloud dancer

Old news now but pantone's 2026 color of the year is... cloud dancer.

It's certainly a color! It can be perceived by the human eye as light on the spectrum. So that, by definition, makes it a color. It's not just a fancy name for eggshell, I can assure you.

Lots of possibility in... cloud dancer! It reminds me of "luxury apartment" wall white, in that it's not quite hospital ivory, but not quite homeowner alabaster. But that's a good thing, you see. Just think! Apartment walls are brimming with possibilities!***

I'm still in a nostalgic frame of mind, so she has an mp3 player and styling from the mid 2000's, when consumer technology was exciting, trendy, novel. a time when tech leads were not trying to destroy both the fabric of our society and our one absolute miracle of a planet, impulsively acting on their sociopathic delusions in order to grasp some semblance of real fulfillment in the yawning void where their hearts once were.

Or maybe I was just a kid then. Rose tinted glasses, and all that.

Bleh I did not mean to get all introspective. I just wanted to make a challenge for myself. Turns out it's hard to paint with eggshel-- I mean CLOUD DANCER as the main shade and have it look interesting. But I got a fun exercise out of it. Challenge failed successfully?

I recorded most of this, but half the recording seems to be frozen on a single frame lol. IDK anything about editing but will poke around to see if the files are just messed up or if it's just a visual glitch that'll sort itself out.
