Spring is here!

It sure don't feel like it! Snow! Tornadoes! Well, technically Spring do be doin that. It's just... doing it angrier than usual for a lot of reasons... Anyway!

I'm back from surgery! It went incredibly well. Like remarkably so. I am so, soooo dang grateful. Not going into details of what I needed, but I was expecting a very long recovery window of a couple months initially, followed by a lot of rehab. Then after extensive tests, the doc said it'll only be a month and a bit of rehab. But it's been just over two weeks and I can plop out something like this. :)

Granted, I can't plop out this again because this drawing took 11 hoursssssss of slow movement lmao

And I'm not going to push it anymore for another week or two.

This is as detailed as I can do for drawings right now. It's actually extremely big, as I can't do small delicate gestures with my hands. Luckily I work on a big ol tablet that can fit a whole arm working on it.

The sketch and flats were made way back in October. Hence the big difference in look between the third and fourth thumbnail below. I don't think I could make a sketch right now.

I promise I aint pushing it! Well, maybe? I hope not, I'm not trying to. Just really wanted to draw and finish something.

There's uhhh.... there's a lot going on right now in the world. So I really hope you yourself are having a warm, loving start to your spring. For what it's worth over the internet, I love you a ton! Hope some borky-drawn marigolds make you happy c:
